Board Members

Chairperson: Joseph Agius - GIT Director Secretary: Christine Agius - Pastor - Word of Life PH Church Treasurer: Grazio Axisa - Engineer Member: Edwin Caruana - Evangelical Alliance of Malta - President Member: Joseph F. Responsibility: 

The job of the board is to represent school in determining and requiring accomplishment of the school’s mission and vision.  Supervision:  The Board Member will supervise the school operation. The board will produce assurance of School performance.  Reaching other Stakeholders The board will strive to reach other stakeholder to partner with them  

Service

The Board Member recognizes this role includes servanthood in accordance with Matthew 20:17, “And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant.” The Board Member will serve on the board for a 3 year term with a maximum of two consecutive terms. Other terms will be decided by the Board of Trustees.  

Accountability: 

The Board Member will report to the Board of Trusties  

Reviews

The Board or Board Committee will do an bi-yearly review of the IQA by reviewing the SAR.  

Salary and Benefits: 

The Board Member will not receive any salary or benefits. The Board Member position is completely voluntary.  

Accessibility: 

The Board Member will make every reasonable attempt to attend all board meetings and board functions as directed by the director of BoT.  

Required Personal Qualities

Have received Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior. Believe that the Bible is God’s Word and standard for faith and daily living. Be a Christian role model (Luke 6:40) in attitude, speech and actions toward others. This includes being committed to God’s Biblical standards for moral conduct. Be a member in good standing at a local, evangelical church, which has a Statement of Faith in agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith. Show by example the importance of the study of Scripture, prayer, witnessing, and unity in the Body of Christ. Be in whole-hearted agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith. Have the spiritual maturity and personal leadership qualities to “train up a child in the way he should go.” If married have the support of the spouse. Understand Biblical principles of stewardship and make responsible use of school resources, which include the individual’s time and talent. Understands and is committed to a Biblical worldview and Christian philosophy of education
