key Recommendation for Improvement 1

Regarding KR1, we understand that formal roles are essential and necessary in organization. However, because of the nature, size and availability of staff, and with the mindset of teamwork roles interchanging according to the needs, flexibility and multiple roles are necessary. The main goal is for the students to receive the service. Both in the pre-audit and the audit day, we explained the organogram was designed with the future in mind (See IQA Standard 1b). It does not fit the purpose of having several offices for such a small school. However, it is part of the vision. The informality was the partial result of newly appointed individuals to these bodies. Since the EQA was conducted, these individuals have left Malta. In addition, continued attention is directed to the governance of our small school, both to maximize available human resources and to prepare structures and policies for future growth and development. In the final stage of board formation, the boards will be reformed to eliminate members serving dual roles. This will need transition time, however plans are discussed and actions are taken. The BoT will be comprised of the Director, a GU representative, and two representatives from the European mission's personnel of the AGWM. The Board of Directors BoD will be comprised of Chairperson, a secretary, treasurer, and two or Maltese church/education leaders likely to be major stakeholders in Malta that have influence. Members of each board will be instructed about their relative roles and responsibilities. However, in this initial transition the chairperson and treasurer will be the same of the BoD. Please see this link: http://iqa.git.edu.mt/ADMINISTRATION-BOD.htm. This will be reflected in revised statutes and guidelines where roles are described.

Key Recommendation for Improvement 2

GIT already been meeting with key stakeholders as recommended by the panel as recommendation KR2. The GIT board met in October 2018 and reviewed the 2012 plan. The Board also listed a plan for the next five year which included plans to attract international students and offer Graduate coursed that are already recognized by QRIC. This is the record of the meeting and initial strategy. Read on online Word here. Recommendation for Improvement 3

Non Partiality Principle

Global Institute of Theology is a student centered institution. In fact, Standard 1h of our internal quality assurance requires that we do not show partiality to any student regarding race, color, and religion among other things. We also included our biblical rational why discriminatory cannot be present in a Bible based school. Consequently, concerning the educational requirements of students studying with GIT, students are not under the jurisdiction of any church or denomination, nor does GIT apply any admission requirements related to religious affiliation or creed. Global University’s faculty appoints mentors, graders, to the course of studies of their students. In some cases, the students choose their mentors according to their program prospectus. The policy can be found in our Internal Quality Assurance website here under “Non Partiality Principle.” Critical Recommendation for Improvement 4 We started discussing with Global University when the next quality assurance audit will take place. Since this requires a certain amount of expense, it may take a few months until we agree when a GU representative will be able to make a site visit.
